Weight needed for a 7mm wetsuit...?

Hi Guys,

All along i've been diving with a 1.5mm wetsuit, 2mm gloves and no hood and i need about 5lbs of weight.

i'm 5'2" and weigh 190 pounds. i'm using a medium backplate. and i've been diving a AL80.

I'll be diving with a 7mm wetsuit tomorrow... with 3mm gloves, 5mm hood and 5mm boots. most probably i'll be using a AL80. do you know how much more weight do i need?

thanks.

i weigh 230 pounds and im 6 foot and 1 inch tall. I use 26 pounds of weight for an ali tank and 22 pounds for my steel tank. It works for me, might be different for you tho. how tall are you and how much do you weigh?

Sorry i forgot to say i wear a 7mm bear alpine suit with 7mm boots and 7mm gloves.

How about height/weight & full run down on the gear you'll bee diving.
Specifics on the tank are important too.

I dive with 18lbs with a 7/5 semi dry suit and an AL80. I also wear a 3mm beanie, 3mm gloves, and 7mm boots. I take more weight if my suit was a regular 7mm Farmer John due to the thicker layer all over plus the double layer on my torso.

i'm 144 lbs, and wear 7 mm everything except gloves (5 mm) + 3 mm vest.
bp + sta = ~12 lbs, and i have 6 lbs ditchable on me, so total 18 LBS in salt water.
forgot to mention - i dive with steel HP 100 (very slightly neg. buoyant when empty).

14 for the suit 1 or 2 for the hood and gloves. Add or subtract for the rest of your gear.

You didn't mention if the suit is new or used or if you are diving salt or fresh water. Is it fullsuit or a farmer john? I'm guessing depending on those it will be anywhere from 18 to 30lbs.
