Does anyone here have a Pinnacle elastiprene suit? I'm interested in their 5mm. How durable is the new material? I want a suit that is easy to get in and out of, but that will last me a while. I've been impressed with every other pinnacle suit I've seen, but I've noticed that other high stretch suits get worn out pretty quick.

Come on, someone has to have this suit. Maybe bumping it to the top will get some responses.

I have a Pinnacle Merino Elastiprene in both 3mm and 7mm. I've used the 3mm extensively(~180 dives). I did encounter a problem with the fabric around the ankle zipper tearing after about 140-150 dives. It was still under warranty so I sent it back to Pinnacle and they did a great job fixing that problem and also cleaned up loose threads and re-enforced the other ankle zipper as well as giving it a great wash. Sent it back and included a free Pinnacle baseball cap. It doesn't have quite the same warmth as it did when new but what wetsuit does after 180 dives? The merino is soft and makes it easy to don. It's my 3rd 3mm wetsuit(Henderson Gold and Bare 3/2 progressive strecth) and by far the best of the 3. I'd buy another Pinnacle but not the Henderson or Bare. The 7mm only has 19 dives but still looks near new. Don't know if you are looking at the Merino lining or not but I'd highly recommend it. I'm the orignal WWW(warm water wuss) so I love the extra warmth it adds.

How does the Merino lining feel when it get wet. I am worried that it will be itchy?? What do you think.

My buddy's 7mm dry suit hood is merino lined. He says it feels like any other hood, just warmer.

My wife has the 3mm version and has no problem getting in it.
She tends to have a hard time so that is a bit of an endorsement.
