I love 1 mm full suits. Good protection, decent warmth. It works well for me in water that is 84 or above.
I have had a Mares Revolution for some 3 years now and have worn it out (somewhat). A good suit that holds up to abuse. As they do not make them anymore(?), you are looking at $50-$60. You can find one here: http://www.joediveramerica.com/page/.../wetmen/494212

I dove in the Gulf last July in just a Dive Skin and it worked out great. I dive in upstate NY so what some people consider cold is not cold to me. As long as you wear something for protection you should be fine. A 5/4 would definitely be way too warm. Enjoy the Bahamas!

I have this Henderson skin. It's really comfortable. I couldn't find it on the ST website, but they carry several Henderson products and can probably order it for you. That was the skin that I wore in Cozumel. I was nice and warm the whole time. Good luck!

Regardless of the skin/1mil you wear for your first dives of the day, you may lose core warmth with each progressive dive in the same day (unless you're diving in bath-warm water). You may wish to add a core warmer for those later dives.

I was thinking the same thing but trying to avoid buying two more suits. I have lots of cold gear but all warm stuff is old and just too well worn to take on a week long trip. Plus those suits I have seem to have gotten smaller over the years. Who knew neoprene shrank over time.
