and I'm jealous! She can't stop raving about the thing! Unfortunately she got it for about 1/3 the price of a new one during a dive shop sale. Good for the pocketbook, but since I can't find one at that price she won't let me get one! Anyone got a suggestion for a good 3mm at a really good price? Something my wife will give the ok for?

I've heard the InstaDry suits are a pain to get in to but great once you have them on. Is your wife able to get in the suit without too much effort?

Yep, she can get it on and off no problemo.

<DIV>And I saw those Neosport suits, I'll probably end up grabbing one or two. The less I have to take on a liveaboard the better (for packing) so its a matter of taking two or three and swapping them out so I'm not in a damp suit, or taking one that'll dry quick... Problem is once home, I don't really need 3 3mm suits...</DIV>

The InstaDry suits are great, but yes, they're pretty expensive. My main beef with them is in spite of the cost, they tend to wear out faster than other suits. They're great while they last, though!

I love my instadry suit that I bought last summer. I have had to aquaseal one of the instadry booties, but I have never been cold in mine yet. I have had it to the Caribbean on three trips. I do have to add two extra pounds of weight in salt water though.

She loves hers so far too, and hasn't had to add any weight (we've only been in fresh since she got it) but we'll see in a few weeks how it goes in the salt water. I was thinking the boots are going to be on my shopping list soon though- I've heard they don't stink as much as the usual booties!

For the first few times, yes. Then they actually mold to your body
shape and they get much easier to put on after 5-10 dives. I don't
have any problems getting mine on.

the wife has had no problems sliding in to her suit, in either a swimsuit or with lycra pants- which almost make it too easy.
