Yes, it does look a little funny. But if it fits your needs who cares. Do you need protection on your lower arms for any reason, such as stinging critters?

I've done it

I've done it and it looked just fine. Just looks like part of the wetsuit unless you get a really wild colored rash guard. Mine is black.

Rash guard or wetsuit inside boots?

I don't care what you look like if your my buddy, as long as you're a good buddy. Personally I don't care what people think about how I look either. If I am doing something with my gear that could be done a better way, by all means I'm open to suggestions and will change it if it could be done a better way.

Actually a lot of local surfers ride that way. And you know they are all about looking cool.

You really should do what works for you, but I am under the opinion that all else being equal, look good doing it.

Good to check though. The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked.
