? About Zena fit
Hey all you Zena gals...my new zena fits great all except for a small gap in the bust at the top area of the zipper. Is this normal? I thought I might need to size the front panel down by 1 size but the width of the front panel is perfect.
Thanks in advance- Chace Last edited by chace_nicole : 09-10-2008 at 10:26 PM. |

Not quite sure I'm getting a clear picture of the problem. Are you saying it's not form fitting at the top of the zipper? Or there is an actual gap in your zipper?

Sorry I was afraid that the wording didn't sound quite right.
![]() Its not form fitting at the top. No gap in the actual zipper. Not sure if I need a smaller front panel or a smaller shoulder or if this is just normal. I have swapped out part sizes two times & this is the best fit I've had so far. I leave for Cozumel Tues & want to get the fit as close to perfect before I get it wet & its too late. Thanks |

I've been wearing mine for so long now - almost 6 years - that I don't really notice the top fit anymore, but I think it does puff out a bit at the top. They would have had to put in darts to make it more form fitting I think. I think the important part of the fit is really the waist & chest so that you can comfortable zip it up with the tank on, and then cinch it in.
Have a great time in Coz!! I'm so jealous - I don't get back there till March!

Okay, so I admit I went to put mine on just to see what you might be talking about. I agree with Kat, you don't have anything to worry about. I'd honestly say the only part of the Zena that isn't a big concern for fit is the top of the corset. Since everyone's waist and chest will be slightly different, some may "poof" out a bit at the top of the zipper area. As long as the shoulder section is a correct size and the entire top of the corset isn't poofing, you're fine.
Let us know how you like it in Cozumel!
