Could be the same gun, with parts added by prop dept. Or, god forbid, it exists only in the land of celluloid fantasy.

Are you sure about that, FD? I think the curved look you're seeing is due to the holster. That MAY be the same gun, to my eye.

Edit: Mandatory *RRRRRAAAAAAAWWRRRRR!*

OK, now THAT'S a P11. But it's a different gun from the promo shots, which is what I thought we were looking for. Since you showed stills from the actual movie, I agree with the original P11 idea.

I was referring to the gun. :P

Point of interest (to me):

My wife is a dead ringer for one of the Lara Croft models (not quite for Angelina, but one of the game models, yes). I have some shots of her from a 2002 halloween party that are spookily similar to these shots. (She'd kill me if I posted them on the internet, sorry!)

Well I know!

Lara usually carries a matched set of HK USPs strapped to her thighs, and most of the gunfights are with these (not .45 though!)

I think the under water scene you're thinking of is in the Cradle of Life and that gun is a HK P11.
mmmmmm...... Laura's thighs.........ahhhh....
