Which gun did Lara Croft use (underwater) in "Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life?"

I lost my copy of the movie. Somebody stole it.

Well I know!

Lara usually carries a matched set of HK USPs strapped to her thighs, and most of the gunfights are with these (not .45 though!)

I think the under water scene you're thinking of is in the Cradle of Life and that gun is a HK P11.

Are you sure you didn't just wear out the tape? Invest in DVD Largo. They last longer with repeated use.
