In hockey, the device is not called a "cup"...it is a "can."

Furthermore, Vercingetorix has never used a "cup." Rather, he uses a whole "quart." At least that's what I read on a washroom wall in Texas.

LOL. But according to the history channel, the first electric vibrators were used by doctors for therapeutic reasons. They were used to treat hysteria in women, and made it easier so that their hand doesn't get tired.
