Wreck Diving Database?
Is there a database of Wrecks giving location and conditions? I know there are lots of sites on the web but I was wondering if there is one place that covered most if not all of that sort of thing?

Best bet is going to be a regional resource. I think the CA Wreck Divers have a resource like that for a majority of California wrecks, but they don't list stuff in your area. If you have an analogous club, that may be a good place to start.

I've only found regional.
For the great lakes there's this database: http://www.boatnerd.com/swayze/shipwreck/ which has tons of info, but nothing really on diving. for north carolina this is a decent page: http://www.nc-wreckdiving.com/shipwrecks.html which is geared towards diving. for california you got http://www.cawreckdivers.org/ which is geared towards diving and pretty good. think you gotta be a member to get the cordinates or something? still lots of good info their. anywhere in particular you were looking for wrecks at? |
