Sunken EXPLORER near Antarctica

Possible new wreck diving site? Of course, I'm sure it's near impossible to get too....

My first thought: Kewl!!!! Let's go.

then reality sets in:
1. That water is beyond cold, beyond durn cold, it is F'in COLD!!!
2. What's the water depth in that area?
3. Will my boat still be floating once I'm done with the dive?

My final thoght is how does a fist sized hole threaten an entire ship? I've seen bigger holes plugged by damage control teams in less then 1/2 an hour.

ETA: CNN reports that it sunk. Let's start looking.

Too cold for me. Probably pretty deep too I would imagine.

Not wishing that type of stress on anyone, but I wonder if they were thinking shades of Titanic when they were told to abandon ship.

It will be interesting to hear how a fist size hole took it down. Must be much more to the story. Amazing all saved and safe.
As for diving on her---to cold for me!
