U-853 off Block Island RI is an IXC class U-boat in 130' of water. It's a historically interesting wreck, as it was the last U-boat sunk by allied forces, and if you're up to the challenge of a deep dive in open ocean New England waters, it's a good one.
Although, as Chris O'Riley's photo mosaic shows, the vis on the U-352 off North Carolina makes it a good option too! ![]() Last edited by MSilvia : 02-27-2008 at 11:07 AM. |
