Looking to outfit the GF and Daughter
We basically are looking for some basics... Snorkel/Mask/Fins but would certainly entertain the idea of other essentials for the future if it's a good deal.
Daughter is 14, small 5', 96lbs and wears a size 5 shoe and an XS in motorcycle helmets. ![]() GF is 5'6" wears a womens large and a size 7.5-8 shoe and can fit in daughter's helmet but it's snug. Looking for open back fins to wear with hard sole boots. We are all pretty much new to diving, have only done "discover scuba" so far. But we are getting certified and going to Belize in February! I'm also looking for some split fins Really got my eye on some Tusa X-pert Zooms... I wear an 11.Thanks for looking. |

I have some Apollo Bio Fins but there is an on going forum set up about the differences between the Tusa and the apollo fins. Check it out everyone there has either one or the other or both. They have some great info. there about the fins.
My vote: Apollo! Also ST has them for a great price, most dive shops sell them for 200+ when you can get them here for 200 with spring straps or without for 150. |

I'm down with either one really... just the zooms look cool (and we know how important that is to the fish ) and they are a "little cheaper" sometimes.
