UK Light Conversion Kit

Howdy,

I bought a UK incandescent light set with three lights just before they changed over to LED (Of course ).

Does ST sell a conversion kit with just the guts, to change over from incandescent to LED? The lights I have never leak and just need to replace the insides. Don't want to have to buy another set if possible.

Well... Yes and no. The only LED Module they now sell is the new eLed Plus head, which runs $99.00. You can drop that guy into either a C4 or a C8 and turn it into a eLed Plus with is their newest, brightest light in the LED series.

Here's the specs on the module:
  • High insensity 10-watt twin LED module with propriety conductive cooling element shines brighter underwater
  • Unique optical design unites two high intensity LEDs into one beam with twice the intensity
  • Underwater Kinetics C8 eLED Plus circuitry insures constant brightness throughout the battery life
  • Switch between full and half power to extend battery life
  • Depth rated to 500 feet
  • 170/60 (High/Low) Lumens
Here's the link to the module itself: http://scubatoys.com/store/detail.as..._id=eLedModule

The only thing brighter would be if you want to get into HID with either the Light Cannon http://scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=UKHID or the new Dark Buster HID http://scubatoys.com/store/detail.as...HIDJuniorTorch at 550 lumens (about 3 times the output of the eLed).

Got you confused now eh?

Actually, what has me confused is the head is $99 and the whole flashlight is only $75??? I wonder if the head is made by the same people who make car parts...

The $75 is for the standard eLed which is being phased out. The new one is the eLed plus.. if you look at the front of the lights, you can see the difference. The new one uses a twin focused beam and new internal circuitry.

That's the difference in the prices...
