WTB: Suunto USB cable for Vytec

I just purchased a Gekko computer and would like to buy a USB cable (the same one that is good for Vytec and Vyper). Willing to pay $40 or less so offers higher than $50 are pointless. I'd love to make myown (thanks to published circuits) cable but don't have time for it, unfortunately.

there were several discussions on scubaboard with external links.
check the following link:
http://www.geocities.com/scubadiver_roli/english.html
that's how to make a serial port cable.
USB diagram can be found through the following link
http://www.geocities.com/scubadiver_roli/cvm_e.html

here is what you asked for:

I bought one like this on ebay, it's just above your limit of $50 ($52 including shipping) so hopefully not too pointless : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=220158743063

Works fine, and the build quality is very professional.

No, I use Windows XP... and I believe it only comes with Windows drivers, not Mac.

Did you manage to get a cable for the Gekko? Do you use Mac as well? If so, what/where/how etc etc. I'm looking for a cable for my Vyper to ul to a Mac. Thanks.
