What happened to the Escape?

I was wasting some time "surfing" the internet and noticed that the Escape had been discontinued.

I thought that it would have been a big seller.

I used to hear a lot of, "I like the Zeagle BCs, but I don't like the weight system."

What happened?

I noticed that the Escape has disappeared. I am the proud owner of one and love the wieght system. My brother has a Brigrade and I've looked at it but like my system better. I imagine that the only having 2 pockets turns people off. Ive added a pocket to mine.

I am guessing the Wicked Lite took over its place in the line up and they didn't need the Escape any longer. The Wicked Lite is more packable, just as capable and roughly the same price. I would like to see those pockets on the Lite but it probably effects how packable the unit is.

I used to hear that same thing - but when we brought the Escape out with the pull out pockets, people simply didn't buy enough of them to make it worthwhile to keep producing them.

The truth is, the ripcord system is a much better system - and people who understand it prefer it!

The Escape might not have worked out, but I think that you guys made a slam-dunk with the Express Tech. It's the 'Kate Moss' of BCs.

You just need better marketing. You should talk to BiggBudd, he knows about marketing.
