Best Kids model?

Would the brigade be a good bc for a small 13 year old? I was thinking because of the ability to switch out different parts of the bc, this would be a good one as they grow. Am I thinking correctly that this is possible?

To a point... The smaller ones use 1 1/2" shoulders, the larger sizes us 2" shoulders. We do have some custom made ones so we can even swap between those - just if and when you have to do it, remind us!

And really, there is a lot of adjustment, so I'd say go for the one that is the biggest one that will fit when cinched down to it's smallest settings, and you will be able to let it out a lot over time. For example, the cummerbund can grow about 8-10 inches in adjustments - so from a 22 to 32 waist - you can just keep adjusting.
