Dump valves on Scout/Stiletto

Hi,

I'm in the market for a travel/warm water BCD and have it narrowed down to Scout vs. Stiletto.

One question I still have is the dump valve configuration on both. I found some information on the Ranger/Brigade at http://www.scubaboard.com/archive/in.../t-143518.html, but nothing on the Scout and Stiletto. If someone could shed some light on it (especially the 2007 Scout model), it would be much appreciated.

Cheers

The Stiletto and the Scout have the same dump valve configuration - One remote shoulder dump on the divers left shoulder, and two lower dump/OPV on the bottom of the bladder. Both bottom dumps are on the "tank side" of the bladder.

Hope that helps...

Scott

Now that's a clear answer :-) Thanks Scott. I'm afraid I have a few more questions:

a) Is it possible to attach your "Quick Deploy Deluxe Signal System 730-3001S" to the Scout? There was a post on scubaboard a while ago regarding the signal kit and the Stiletto (http://scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=172421&)

Quote:
There are two ways to attach the marker kit. It's not easy to explain without pictures.

1. Is the strap and clip that Scott is refering to. It goes around a vertical strap built into all Zeagle BC packs.

You can also attach a bail-out bottle kit or any # of pockets and accessories if you choose this 2nd, most versatile method. It cost a little more that the 1st method.

2. Is the zippered attachment system that is used on LTD Bcs. This mounts half a zipper to the BC at the same point on the verticle strap. It also attaches around the lower tank cam band. They are sold in pairs so you put one on each side of your BC, and can then easily move or change accessories. (Some dealers might break a pair.)

The 2nd way makes it much easier to take off the pouch and reload the signal tube, then replace it to the BC again.
Is the same true for the Scout? Not sure I understand option (2). The signal kit doesn't seem to have a zipper.

b) Does the "Lumbar Pad 7275F" work with the Scout and does that even make sense? As Larry points out it is great for naps :-)

c) Has Zeagle a representation in New Zealand now or is this still done through Dive Tub in Australia?

Thanks in advance

Yes, you can attach that stuff to a Scout exactly like you would on a Stiletto - by using the link link strap, or you can add the Zip Mount platform, which would allow you to use Ranger LTD accessories with any Zeagle BC.

The Scout has sewn on shoulders, so you can not attach the lumbar pad.

I will get you the info for our NZ distributor...
